Barrel Brokers is a husband and wife team founded in the Yarra Valley. Formed after a deep love of whisky, wine, craft beer and of course, the art of coopering and barrels.
The business now has two sites, one in Lilydale Victoria & another on Corowa Distillery Site where a commercial cooperage is currently being built. Both offices are surrounded by an abundance of wineries that are producing some of the country’s best and oldest fortified wines, a hand full of exceptional breweries and a sprinkle of world class distilleries.
Murray River Cooperage will be headed up by John Carberry who has been a Master Cooper in Scotland’s best cooperages for over 30 years bringing with him expertise from the UK’s most famed distilleries. We will also have a qualified coppersmith on our team that can handle any repairs or fully new makes of stills to your requirements.
“We are spoilt for choice and have options on hundreds of quality used fortified barrels which we specialise in. We also source spirit barrels in both large and small formats as well as buying and selling secondhand distillery, brewery and winery equipment. There is nothing we can’t source.” Says Robbie.
